High Performance School «Valle del Ambroz» for young pianists
16 to 28 August 2025 in the Ambroz Valley.
The High Performance School “Valle del Ambroz” is aimed at students of Conservatories and Music Universities.
During the afternoon, recitals by teachers and students will be held under the framework of the Festival.

The High Performance Piano School Valle del Ambroz was conceived with the idea of offering high quality teaching where piano masterclasses are combined with other lessons that complement the students’ training. Students who apply for Modality A will have priority in the selection process.
This modality includes:
6 piano masterclasses (with one or more professors).
4 four hands piano lessons.
ZeneZen lessons – Creative piano pedagogy based on the Kodály and Kokas method.
Contemporary Music Workshop.
Pianos for practicing.
Tickets for the Festival.
Modality B
Masterclasses
Accommodation and full board guaranteed

Registration is available for either (or both) of the two weeks in which the course is divided: 17-21 and 23-27 August.
This modality includes:
4 piano masterclasses (with one or more professors).

Modality C
Auditors

One week: 175 €
Registration available for the full course or any of the two weeks: 17-21 and 23-27 August.
This modality includes:
Attendance as an auditor at all EAR Valle del Ambroz classes.
Tickets for the Festival.
*Accommodation and board for auditors will only be available for those over 18 years old and until all spots are filled. Priority will be given to teachers and students from official music education centres.

Registration will be available until May 20, 2026. Click on REGISTRATION and complete the form.
Notes:
1.Deposit. A deposit of 100€ must be paid and will be deducted from the tuition fee. In case the student is not selected, the deposit will be returned in full. The deposit can be paid at the moment of sending the form or by bank transfer. Upon completion of the form you will receive an email with the details.
2.Professor preference. During registration, you will be able to choose your preferred professors for the masterclasses. This preference will be considered as far as possible according to the order of registration and the selected students’ level.

3.Registration and video. Deadline to send video recording is May 20th, although we recommend registering in advance.
Student selection
Candidates must submit a video including at least two contrasting pieces with a minimum duration of 15 minutes (modalities A and B).
The video will be sent via a YouTube link or any other similar platform by entering the URL in the form.
The results of this selection will be communicated on May 30 by email.
