Adrián Pulido Bautista

At the age of 11, he began his oboe studies at the “García Matos” Conservatory in his hometown, with Professor Vicente Pérez Pellicer. From 2011 to 2018, he was a student of Professor Christian Wetzel, with whom he completed his undergraduate studies at “Musikene,” where he also studied with Laura Marcos Benito. He subsequently pursued a Master of Music degree at the HfMT in Cologne, Germany. He has received instruction in oboe, chamber music, and English horn from various professors, including Dominik Wollenweber, Jerèmy Sassano, David Walter, Miriam Pastor, Peter Veale, Kai Fröngbem, Jordi Mora, Georg Klütsch, Karsten Dobers, Vicente Llimerá, Victor Ánchel, and Pascal Laffont.

He has participated in numerous projects and programs for young people, including the Extremadura Youth Orchestra, the OSCAM project, and the young performers’ series of the San Sebastián Musical Fortnight and the Juan March Foundation.
As an oboe and English horn player, she has developed and continues to develop her musical activity in various settings. She collaborates with several national and international ensembles, such as the Extremadura Orchestra, the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra of Cologne, the Gürzenich Orchestra of Cologne, the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, and other groups like Ensemble Galería, Sonido Extremo, and Anam Camerata.

As a soloist, she has toured France, Spain, Germany, and Australia with the Kammerphilharmonie Köln.

As a teacher, he was Professor of Oboe at the “Tomás Bote Lavado” Official Conservatory of Music in Almendralejo from 2019 to 2021.

Since the 2022/23 season, he has been the Director of the Plasencia City Band. He is part of the production team for the Extremadura-based group Anam Camerata and is currently Professor of Oboe at the Badajoz Higher Conservatory of Music.
